Hi, I’m Aarin Chung, founder of Edimental Gardener. For the past 12 years, my husband Howard and I have grown food in Zone 10—first in the desert and now in coastal Southern California.
Like many warm-climate gardeners, I wasted years following advice built around snowy winters and nonexistent frost dates. I started crops too late. Removed plants too early. Missed planting windows. And spent far too much time piecing together what my garden needed next.
Today, my 20-by-20-foot garden grows enough food to replace the grocery store. I created The Garden to give warm-climate gardeners the clear, timely direction I wish I’d had when I first started.
